Laura Dale Design has taken reasonable care to ensure that the information contained in this website is accurate on the stated date of publication or last modification.
Prices and Specifications
Prices, specifications, availability and terms of offers may change without notice.
Despite our best efforts and proofreading, a tiny number of items may contain pricing or typography errors.
Correct pricing is validated and confirmed at the time your order is placed and processed.
All prices on the Laura Dale Design website are displayed in New Zealand dollars ($NZD).
Returns and Refunds
The utmost care is taken with all orders and each is dealt with on a case by case basis. Sometimes however, accidents or errors may occur. Laura Dale Design must be notified of faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing products as soon as possible following your order being delivered and a maximum of 24 hours after delivery. If you are in any way unsatisfied with your purchase from Laura Dale Design, please contact us.
Unless there are prevailing exceptional circumstances, once an order has been placed, cancellations will incur a fee of up to 100% of payments made.
Copyright
All images displayed are subject to copyright as owned by the artist. Use of these images for any purpose, without the prior permission of the artist is a breach of law and may result in legal action.
Images may not be downloaded, reproduced, copied, projected, or used in any way without express written permission from the artist.
Delivery and Shipping
Once your order has been placed we will process your details and place an order with our printing lab. As most orders are produced upon request the typical wait time for an unframed print is five (5) working days plus delivery. If there are any unexpected delays we will try to send you an email to notify you.
We strive to ensure that the shipping charges calculated at the time of payment are accurate, however there may be situations where the calculation is incorrect and subject to slight variances. In the unlikely situation that shipping costs are higher than paid we will try our best to cover the difference, however in cases where there is a significant difference we reserve the right to contact you and invoice the difference.
Finished prints are sent via NZ Post. Your print can also be tracked – we will send you the details once dispatched. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address as goods which are returned to us as undeliverable will incur a re-dispatch fee. Freight charges paid for the original dispatch are not refundable.
You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense that you incur as a result of postage or import taxes into the country in which the product will be sent to.
Shipping Times
Shipping costs vary depending on the product ordered and the country it is being shipped to. International shipments may take up to 21 business days in transit but are usually delivered within 2-4 weeks from the ship date.
We have also experienced instances where an order may take upwards of a month to deliver. Not all tracking events may be represented in real-time, and this causes a shipment to appear stalled at a particular place/event. There are also other factors beyond our control that may extend the delivery window, including but not limited to:
- Packages being handled by multiple carriers, when handed off to local carriers.
- Local customs department processing time
For these reasons, we are unable to guarantee a delivery date with certainty for international deliveries.
While we want every order to be perfect, mistakes and defects may possibly go by unnoticed. If there is a manufacturing mistake during printing or an item is damaged during shipping, we want to hear about it. Please reach out to us via our contact form with a photo of the damaged product, a description of the issue, and the order number. We'll issue a reprint and ship a new product to your customer at no cost to you. Please note that all complaints regarding product quality should be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
We will work with you to address any issues related to Prints but will only be responsible for returns or refusal of Products if such artwork (A) do not conform to the Print specifications published in the Services when ordered, or (B) have clear manufacturing defects. In such instances, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to work with our printers to promptly reproduce the affected artwork.
Seasonal Delays
Note that orders placed in November and December often take longer than the provided estimates to produce due to seasonal demand.
Tracking Number
Every Order on the email a tracking number will be provided. Bear in mind this will only be sent once the print or original artwork is ready for sending and in the shipping process it may take 24 hours to activate.
Lost Packages
We will reprint and reship a new order at no charge to you if your order appears lost in transit.
Lost in transit: The tracking number shows the item was picked up from the manufacturer, but the tracking information has not shown movement for seven business days. The reprint will be issued using the original shipping address and the shipping method. Delivery issues should be reported within 2 months of purchase, no later.
Lost International Orders
International deliveries are shipped via NZ Post and are usually completed within 1-3 weeks. However, packages may take up to 21 business days to reach their final destination. International deliveries do not provide consistent tracking updates, and this may cause a shipment to appear stalled on the delivery route. Other factors that may extend the delivery window:
- The package is handled by multiple carriers, including handoff off to local post offices
- Local customs department processing times vary depending on the country and declared value
- Carrier work stoppages, like strikes
- Inclement weather along the delivery route
Due to these variables, we cannot provide a guaranteed delivery date for international deliveries. If your international order has not arrived at the delivery location by the 21st business day, please email us so we can arrange a replacement at no cost to you. The reprint will be issued using the original shipping address and the shipping method.
Incorrect Shipping Information
If you, the customer, enter an incorrect or incomplete address please contact us immediately and we will try to remedy the problem before it has been processed, if not the package will be returned to the vendor and may be reshipped at your cost. If you would like to place a new order to reduce the final delivery time, this is at your discretion.
Please note that if the package is returning to the original sender (any of our vendors) due to an incorrect address, and it gets lost on its way back, we will not cover the cost of the replacement order.
Stolen or Missing Packages
If the tracking information for an order shows the package was delivered, a reprint or a refund is at your discretion. We recommend contacting Laura Dale Design for a new, secure location for final delivery.
Liability
The Vendor’s liability to the Customer shall be limited to the value of the Order supplied.
- The Sale of Goods Act 1908, the Fair Trading Act 1986 and other statutes may imply warranties or conditions or impose obligations upon the Vendor which cannot by law (or which can only to a limited extent by law) be excluded or modified. In respect of any such implied warranties, conditions or terms imposed on the Vendor the Vendor’s liability shall, where it is allowed, be excluded or if not able to be excluded only apply to the minimum extent required by the relevant statute.
- Except as otherwise provided above the Vendor shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, arising from the supply of Goods and Services by the Vendor to the Customer including consequential loss whether suffered or incurred by the Customer or another person and whether in contract or tort (including negligence) or otherwise and irrespective of whether such loss or damage arises directly or indirectly from Goods and Services provided by the Vendor to the Customer.
- The Customer shall indemnify the Vendor against all claims and loss of any kind whatsoever however caused or arising and without limiting the generality of the foregoing of this clause whether caused or arising as a result of the negligence of the Vendor or otherwise, brought by any person in connection with any matter, act, omission, or error by the Vendor its agents or employees in connection with the Goods and Services.
Full Colour Printing
All reasonable efforts shall be made to obtain the best possible colour reproduction on customer’s work but variation is inherent in the print process and it is understood and accepted as reasonable that, the Vendor shall not be required to guarantee an exact match in colour or texture between the customer’s photograph, transparency, proof, electronic graphic file, previously printed matter (whether printed by Vendor or other party) or any other materials supplied by the customer and the printed article the subject of the customer’s order.
Data Protection
By placing an order with the Vendor, the customer consents to its details being passed on to the vendors Accountant for accounting purposes, printer for print purposes, and NZ Post for shipping purposes.
Taxes and Duties
Unless expressly included in any quotation given by the Vendor, Goods and Services Tax and other taxes and duties assessed or levies in connection with the supply of the Goods and Services to the Customer are not included in the price and shall be the responsibility of the Customer or, where the payment of such taxes or duties is the responsibility of the Vendor at law, the price shall be increased by the amount of such taxes or duties.
PRIVACY POLICY
This policy covers how we use your personal information provided during purchase. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information.
Laura Dale Design treats all your personal information as confidential and will only be used to fill your order. At no time do we share any of our customers’ information with any other parties other than our printers. We only retain customer contact information in the interest of further communication.
We will never pass on your email address onto a 3rd party for marketing purposes or store your credit card details in our database or on our servers as all payments are processed via Stripe payment gateways.
When you create a shopping account while ordering online you are given the option to receive information from us via email about products, promotions or special offers. If you don’t want to be contacted, make sure you tick the appropriate box as you go through the checkout process. You can unsubscribe from our contact list at any time by replying to a promotional email with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line or choosing the unsubscribe option on the bottom of the email.
Laura Dale Design uses cookies, tracking pixels and related technologies. Cookies are small data files that are served by our platform and stored on your device. Our site uses cookies dropped by us or third parties for a variety of purposes including to operate and personalise the website. Also, cookies may also be used to track how you use the site to target ads to you on other websites.
