About The Artist

I am an interior designer by profession and an artist in my spare time. I am based in Queenstown, New Zealand (arguably one of the most spectacular places in the world) with my partner and baby girl. Recently, becoming a mum has opened up a whole new world of creativity for me, motherhood is a wonderful, wild ride. I studied Interior Architecture (BAhons) at Brighton University, UK and have also completed an Art Foundation course, along with A- level qualifications in Fine Art and Graphic Design. I typically create abstract fine art using acrylics on canvas.

After living in Queenstown for 10 years, we all get a little desensitised to the views we see everyday. However, since having my little girl and taking time off work to be with her, I now see the world through her eyes and realise how magical it all must seem to her (which it truly is). I wanted to create art that reflected this but I was naive to think I could get my easel out and paint like I used to during her nap times. So, instead, I gathered some photographs of my favourite landscapes and started blending them with my existing abstract paintings to create these semi- abstract, majestic landscapes that I just love. It's my outlet whilst my little one is sleeping, some time just for me. I've loved the process of developing this new style and I'm excited to share them.
